We spent our final full day at Sea World, which both girls loved. Addy loved watching the dolphin show and decided she wants to be a dolphin trainer when she grows up!
We drove back to Disneyland that night and made our way over to our hotel. Nathaniel was smart and brought some ties to attach the car seats to the suitcase to make it easier to carry around. We took our own car seats as I was freaked out about what the state of the car seats would be if we rented them.
We spent the day at Legoland and the best I can say is the food was really good. I guess our girls just aren't that into Lego, and poor Emmy couldn't go on any rides. The food was good though!
This was our earliest Magic Morning early entry... the gates opened at 7 for us and we were there 15 minutes early! But we had all woken up at 6:30 so we decided to go for it! I'm so happy we did as we got in so many good rides! Both girls loved Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters and we went on it as many times as we could in a row. Addy tried Star Wars and she looked so cute in her 3D glasses! Addy also decided she was ready to go down Space Mountain! She loved the ride, except that it was too loud, so I had to cover her ears the whole time. And finally, both girls got their Driver's license and we drove some cars in Autopia.
We visited Tinkerbell and her friends in pixie hollow.
And went on the Pooh ride a few times. Addy also thought this ride was too loud! She must have really sensitive ears!
We had brunch with some of Minnie's friends.
And enjoyed the Mickey Mouse parade again in the afternoon.
We finished it up with finally getting to see World of Colour. It really is neat watching the water light up, but it was pretty crowded. I couldn't imagine how crazy it must be during the busy season!
We spent the morning going on the dumbo ride as many times as we could, followed up the tea cups, and riding the train around the park. Both girls love rides and we couldn't believe how perfect the time was to take the girls.
We waited to see all the princesses again for Addy... she loved talking to the princesses and it was neat how they stayed in character and some of them even remembered her from the previous day.
Toon town was a favourite with the girls. We ran into some of our friends from back home and managed to get a picture with Mickey all together.

We managed to find Rapunzel in her tower, which was a highlight for Addy.
We finished the day trying to see World of Colour, but it was too windy and the show was cancelled.
This was the day that Addy got to do the countdown at California Adventure to open up the Park for the day. We all got special pins for opening up the park and the girls and Nat got some for it being their first time at Disney.
We spent the morning working our way through Paradise Pier. Highlights of the rides we went on include the Ariel ride (4 times!), Toy Story, Mickey's Wheel, and Jumping Jellyfish. The only ride Emmy couldn't go on was Jumping Jellyfish, but she was fast asleep in the stroller anyway. Most of the rides we went on at least two times in a row because there was no line up.
For lunch we splurged and went to Ariel's grotto. It was lot's of fun for Addy to get to talk to all the princesses and the food was much better than choosing something out of a cart.
We spent the afternoon in Bugs World going on all the rides. The only ride Emmy couldn't do was the bumper cars so she was a very happy camper! Later, we watched the Pixar Pals parade, went back to the hotel for a swim and then went out to disneyland for the evening.
We walked into Disneyland and once we made it to the castle I couldn't take it anymore and was bursting to tell the three loves of my life the exciting news.
We're having another baby! Addy's reaction was great and I'm so glad I recorded it.
In the evening we lined up and watched the Mickey Mouse Parade, and after a busy first day, both girls fell asleep in the stroller on the way back to the hotel.
We left after breakfast for the airport and arrived at LAX just after lunch. We hopped on our shuttle and got to the hotel, the Grand California, only to discover they had lost our reservation. I just don't get how this sort of stuff happens, but for our troubles (waiting an extra half an hour in the lobby while they sorted everything out) we were upgraded to a pool view room. Once we were unpacked we spent the afternoon in the pool and then headed out to get a bite to eat in Downtown Disney. For bedtime, Addy enjoyed the bedtime stories featured on the tv in our room.
I feel it's worth mentioning that one suitcase is for the girls and one parent. I also feel it's worth mentioning that they are using the smaller of the two suitcases. In case it's not clear still, I (Heidi) am that parent. Score one for the girls!
